To support the transition to net-zero, this Symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of the lastest insights on policies, action plans, and management tools for achieving net-zero and resilience in agriculture. In particular, the water-energy-food (WEF) nexus serves as an effective approach to addressing the challenges of greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation, specifically CO2, CH4 and N2O, by establishing optimized and resilient decision-making system. The objectives of this Symposium are to (1) share innovative policy tools, research frameworks, methodologies, and technologies related to agricultural net-zero and WEF nexus systems, (2) identify future directions for collaboration on agricultural net-zero systems through WEF nexus tools, and (3) promote the exchange and dissemination of cutting-edge research on agricultural net-zero and the WEF nexus among researchers, educators, and practitioners in the US, South Korea and Taiwan.
