**中秋烤肉愛注意 魏嘉彥提醒落實垃圾分類**
中秋節就要到了，除了月圓人團圓之外，烤肉也是應景的活動之一。市長魏嘉彥特別提醒民眾，公園及廣場等公共場所，均禁止烤肉及野炊，烤肉時也應注意用火安全，木炭與竹籤使用完畢後請妥善處理，勿造成垃圾清運上的危險，期盼市民都能平安團圓歡度佳節。
中秋節烤肉幾乎已成為「全民運動」，不過節日過後的垃圾清運，經常造成清潔人員困擾，不僅容易發生一般垃圾、廚餘與回收分類混雜的狀況，還有未完全熄滅的木炭，尖銳的竹籤、鐵夾，都會造成垃圾清運上的危險，甚至導致清潔人員受傷。
花蓮市清潔隊針對應景的美食及用品進行垃圾分類說明，柚子皮、菜梗及水果皮屬於廚餘，烤肉醬玻璃罐、瓦斯罐、烤肉架及鐵架為回收垃圾，而玉米梗、蛤蠣、牡蠣殼、木炭灰燼及骨頭則屬於一般垃圾。
清潔隊也提醒，中秋節當天垃圾定時定點專區及夜間收運將照常，請民眾配合將回收瓶罐清洗乾淨確認用盡後交給回收人員，丟棄竹籤等尖銳物品時務必折斷後妥善包裝，木炭使用完畢也要熄滅冷卻後再丟棄至垃圾車，共同體恤清潔隊員的辛勞，並守護他們的安全。
